Adventure Road Trip to Lake Natron

This day takes you on a 7-Day Tanzania Wildlife Wonders Experience Tour Road trip through northern Tanzania to Lake Natron. After breakfast, you depart from Africa Safari Karatu and drive about four hours through Tanzania’s ever-changing landscapes. As you pass the Great Rift Valley and go further toward Lake Natron, you will notice the lush green vegetation slowly changing to dry, arid, and dusty landscapes. The occasional Maasai villages passed en route, becoming dots in the distant scenery.

The further north you go, the more remains of old volcanoes rise around you. Among them is Ol Doinyo Lengai, meaning ‘Mountain of God’ in the Masai dialect.
