After an early breakfast in Entebbe, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with a target to have lunch in Fort Portal.

A series of stopovers in the far countryside offer us chances of stretching in villages and around tea plantations along the drive as we check in late evening. Have a night in a beautiful area close to a crater lake bordering Kibale Forest.

Kibale Forest National Park is a rainforest and home to over 1500 chimpanzees. During your morning chimp trekking, you will see them close and capture shots of our closest cousins in the jungle in their frenzied, exciting moods, grooming!

After the trek, return to the lodge and relax.

After a relaxed breakfast, start the transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Drive further southwards with the Rwenzori ranges in view, or drive through the crater lakes in the hills to sample the surprising diversity of savannah trees and wildlife!

Reach the lodge and enjoy the impressive view over Queen Elizabeth National Park and an evening game drive.

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning.

We go for an early lion tracking experience accompanied by experienced trackers who use radio telemetry to locate the park’s lions.

After lunch in the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Here you have the chance to spot hippos along the banks of the channel.

Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi.

In Ishasha, we will drive off into this adventurous, vast savannah area with topis and the southern version of elephants to hopefully get the lions high in the fig tree branches.

Continue the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is the home to the forest giants, the mountain gorillas.

Have an early breakfast and get ready for the highlight of this tour.

Set off into the forest with a specialized guide, trek through beautiful nature, and finally get to spend one hour in the area where the mountain gorillas are.

Besides the gorillas, this impenetrable forest is full of birds, butterflies, plant species, forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and duikers.

After the trek, enjoy a packed lunch and head back to rest at the lodge or go for a community walk.

Breakfast is served early so you can depart in good time for the journey to Kigali, Rwanda, for your onward flight. After breakfast, check out, and your guide transfers you across the border to Kigali International Airport.
