Your guide will meet you at Entebbe International Airport for an introductory briefing, then transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe, where you’ll settle in and rest after your flight. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, depart Entebbe and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second-largest conservation area. Along the way, enjoy a memorable equator experience. Upon arrival, check in, freshen up, and head out in the late afternoon for a game drive in search of the park’s amazing wildlife.

Set out at dawn for an exhilarating lion-tracking excursion, following the tracks of Queen Elizabeth’s famed tree-climbing lions with the guidance of expert trackers. After the excursion, return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, home to the largest concentration of hippos in Uganda. Return to the lodge for dinner,

After a leisurely breakfast, your guide transfers you to the home of the mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, freshen up and settle in for the night in preparation for tomorrow’s trek.

Wake to an early breakfast, then head to the briefing station with your packed lunch for a pre-trek briefing. Hike through the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas. Once you sight them, you’ll spend up to one hour with these gentle giants, learning about their behavior and striking similarities to humankind.
After the trek, take time in the afternoon to explore the rich heritage and traditions of the Batwa people, who once lived in the forest. Return to the lodge for dinner and a second night in Bwindi.

Breakfast is served early so you can depart in good time for the journey to Kigali, Rwanda, for your onward flight. After breakfast, check out, and your guide transfers you across the border to Kigali International Airport.
