Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed to the Pearl of Africa by a Jackal Adventures safari guide, who will give a brief about Uganda and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. After a relaxed breakfast, check out and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We drive through the volcanic landscape with steep sides to the home of the mountain gorillas. Check in and have a relaxed evening; an early night is recommended, as the habituation experience begins with a very early start and demands good physical fitness.

Wake up before dawn, have an early breakfast, and set off accompanied by park rangers, researchers, and trackers to find a semi-habituated gorilla family that is still being accustomed to human presence.

Unlike a standard trek, this immersive experience grants you up to 4 full hours with the gorillas, observing their natural behavior as researchers quietly go about their work of habituating the group. The rangers will interpret the flora and fauna, the gorillas’ lifestyle, and the fascinating habituation process itself.
