Detailed 3-Day Lake Mburo Safari Uganda
Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe and take you on a 4-hour journey to Lake Mburo National Park.
Along the way, you will take a break at the Equator in Mpigi for snacks, souvenir shopping, and photos, and then continue to the park.
Upon arrival, you will settle in and enjoy a short afternoon game drive to ease into the safari, where you can glimpse your first zebras, impalas, and buffalo before heading to your lodge.

After an early breakfast, your guide will lead you on a morning game drive – the best time for spotting wildlife. Look out for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, topi, elands, and many birds like crested cranes, pelicans, and fish eagles.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a midday rest to avoid the heat of the afternoon.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you can see crocodiles and numerous hippos up close, along with kingfishers and other waterbirds along the shoreline.

After breakfast, take an optional guided nature walk (or horse ride) along the park trails – a chance to see wildlife on foot, including zebras and antelopes, with stunning views of the lake.
Check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala, with a lunch stop along the way.
