After an early breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a chartered flight to the Pakuba airstri[, soaring over the Albertine Rift. A game drive en route to your riverside lodge breaks the journey,

complete with a bush-track picnic lunch. That afternoon, set out on a sunset boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where the mighty river thunders through a narrow gorge.

Rise before dawn for an early morning game drive through the Buliisa sector, tracking lions, giraffes, elephants, hartebeest, and Uganda kob across the savannah. Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch, then enjoy an afternoon at your own pace a spa treatment overlooking the Nile, a dip in the pool, or a guided hike to the top of the falls for dramatic views of the gorge.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before your morning drive to Kibale. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge and settle in. In the afternoon, join a guided Bigodi Wetland community walk, threading boardwalks through the swamp in search of monkeys and butterflies while learning about the rich traditions of the local community.

Start early for your chimpanzee trek through Kibale’s primeval forest, home to the highest density of primates in East Africa. After the tracking, return to the lodge for a well-earned afternoon

After breakfast, your guide transfers you on a scenic ~3-hour drive through vast tea estates and the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in, recover over lunch, then set out on an afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise a 32-mile stretch of water holding the world’s densest hippo population, alongside buffaloes, elephants, and hundreds of bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Today, you will get up early for an experiential lion-tracking activity, followed by a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and large herds of buffalo and antelopes.

The backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains adds to the park’s dramatic scenery. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time.

After an early breakfast, depart south through the Ishasha sector to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the last strongholds of the mountain gorilla. Transfer to your rainforest lodge and settle in among the misty hills.

Rise early for a briefing before setting out with your expert trackers into the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek can be demanding, hiking steep, misty slopes through dense vegetation, but the reward is unforgettable. After your trek, visit the Batwa community for an immersive cultural encounter.

Return to the lodge for a farewell dinner.
